My review:(I received a free copy from the vendor) this is a great idea because the paper is not like Bible paper its thick so you don't have to worry about bleed through.I would say you could use any utensil and it won't bleed through.One problem I do have are some of the art is not printed properly its hard to describe I don't think a whole lot of work was put into this coloring book for the art work to look like that.Some words in the verses are in a different size and font,I also don't like how the outside was treated with such little care in some places it looks like the purple was some how scratched off but besides that I would say its a pretty good coloring book.So if you want to do bible journaling but don't want bleed through I would say go get a copy.
